There are a number of programs and plug-ins that do this... I've blown many hours playing with em. There are some online pages with hundreds of images from such art "competitions" .... with some really neat images. It actually takes some experience to merge the digital rendering engines of the fractals to a human input... which is why I don't play around with em anymore... LOL.

Nice one, it sets a mood nicely

One of my favourites I've found is this one it's not fractal but prints really well. This whole site is full of them
