Looking for a new tv need HD one about 50 to 55 inch, Just confufesed about what to bye?? Dont have money for plazma but have about $2000 to $2500 to spend on one. Thx for any replies!!

what room will it be in, i.e. familyroom, basement, master bedroom, etc...?
what is the incoming source, cable , sat, outdoors antenna?
how far will you be seated from it?
what source components will be used with it, i.e. computer, game console, dvd player?
how will it be used, i.e. dedicated theater, multimedia, everyday viewing?
