I was in the music store buying a keyboard stand and browsing through the guitars, when I spotted this fabulous looking guitar in bright orange with stunning mother of pearl inlay. I thought I was in love. But then I picked it up and started to play and I knew I was in love.

I thought that my Ovation felt good when I bought it. This guitar makes the Ovation feel like a POS in comparison.

If I were rich and could afford to drop four grand without batting an eye, I would have bought it on the spot. My god, I can't stop thinking about it!

$4,500 on sale for $3,600 CND. Listed at $4,998 USD on the Taylor site, it sounds like a really good deal. Anyone wanna lend me $4,000 (gotta factor in the tax)? Well, if I can sell my Ovation, I'd only need maybe $3,400.

Stupid work computer won't let me upload the picture so you'll have to go here...

I spent my first signing bonus on a Gibson Lucille model. I totally had buyers remorse on the drive home from the store - panicked, worried what my then fiancee would say...then I plugged it into my Marshall and just got lost in the fat tone this thing was generating.
Damn, I can't quite play it like B.B. and I'll never be all that great vibrato but it's easily my favorite, edging out the Les Paul. Next to my dog, it's my favorite thing in the world.

Here's what you do FA...go to Canadian Tire, get a CTC credit card, and take out the cash withdrawal...then move...foolproof!!!

That's how I felt after buying my Ovation. I won the money at the Casino, so it was a true winfall and I wanted to do something special with it rather than just blow it on day to day stuff. Buying an Ovation was fulfilling a 20 year dream. Even so, I didn't sleep for two nights, wondering if spending so much money on a guitar that I'm not even very good at playing, was the right thing to do.

It was. Maybe I should go back to the casino and try to quadrouple my money. :ihih:
