I went looking for this after hearing a trio of the tracks (9, 10 &11) from a streaming radio site. I've played it a lot. They're a british band, with high and low moments of dreamy pop remeniscent of the 80's/90's. It is not one to cheer you up, but you get the sense that they aren't taking themselves too seriously. Sound quality is good too.
Not a great review at AMG, which I've learned to take with a grain of salt, but their write-up reads better than the three stars they gave it: "As musicians, Clearlake designs an abstract portrait on Cedars. It's not as cheeky as Pulp (http://java_script_:z('B5ek0ikk6bbc9')/) and not nearly as abrasive as British Sea Power (http://java_script_:z('Bhi5zef5k2gf4')/); however, Clearlake is equally provocative."
I''m recommending it, seeing what a lot of others here are into.
