Coolsat Receiver Question

Will a CoolSat Receiver like the CoolSat 6000 (http://cgi.ebay.com/COOLSAT-6000-PREMIUM-SATELLITE-TV-RECEIVER-5000-4000_W0QQitemZ9738420232QQihZ008QQcategoryZ32845QQ rdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) work with any satelite dish (like one from Dish Networks) or does it require a CoolSat branded dish?

You need a KU band dish--76 cm at least, with an option for a larger one or a motorized one to pick up more satellites--and a universal LNB, or KU, LNBF, which is not the same as the type that is attached to Dish and DirecTV dishes. That's the extent of my knowledge of FTA reception. Good luck.

With LNB/KU/LNBF, are you talking about the coax cable connector?
