Marantz SR-5600 vs. Denon AVR-2106

Any thoughts? I had basically decided on Marantz, then I listened to the Denon. Basically same price. Anyone have and either love/hate either of these receivers or similar models from same makers? I am assuming it would be basically a tie, but curious for advice.

I like the Marantz in this class over the Denon. You get more bells and whistles with the Denon, but the Marantz is a better sound. But you have to let your ears decide for themselves.

id go for the marantz too. its very warm sounding and reserves a lot of very good bass. denons sounds very thin to me...if youll be using this for stereo music, go for the marantz but if you are using this for HT, denon may outperform the marantz but only to a very marginal level.
