Last night I calibrated my new sony sxrd television with the DVE dvd. This morning I went to watch normal television and I noticed the settings were not saved. Whats up with that?
Just in case its important I am using a denon dvd-2910 and it is connected only with a HDMI cable.

The settings should automatically be saved as long as you're in the same picture mode in which you did the calibration (for instance, Pro, Vivid, etc.). However, when you move to another picture mode, those settings will not follow you. You'll have to calibrate it separately. I'm assuming that the SXRDs operate in that fashion, which is typical for Sony, unless Sony has finally allowed individual inputs to be calibrated, in which case you'd lose particular DVE settings when switching inputs.
Edit: I forgot to mention that if you hit any "reset" button on the remote, the TV will also revert to its default settings. "Reset" does not mean "Save New Settings."
