Just purchased the Denon DVD-2910. Do I need to do a firmware update?

Do I need to do a firmware update on my new dvd player? Where would I get the update and directions. Do I need special cables or anything?

Go to http://usa.denon.com/ProductUpdatesUpgrades.asp. Give your model and serial number, and run the search mechanism to see what turns up.

You don't need special cables, although something better than those provided would be a good idea. I use Harmonic Tech because I like their locking collars and they aren't that expensive. You might also look into bettercables.com or perhaps bluejeanscables.com
