OK guys. Sit this one out while the girls & JM get to vote. Well, actually, if you care, you can vote too. But this time it's two guys in the pit. I don't know who the hottest actors are these days, but I'm throwing Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp in to tumble around.
Who will be the victor? Who will end up sucking mud?
I'll post pics when I get the chance.

Thanks GM. I had to vote for Pitt. I can imagine him throwing Depp around like a rag doll. Depp has spent so much time in France he would probably surrender.

Johnny is getting his butt whipped so far. Brad is throwing him around like a rag doll. Can Johnny get back on his feet? Or, at least his face out of the mud?

Aren't there any ladies here who'd jump in and help him?

i had to vote for my boy johnny. based on sheer talent alonem he's so good he could act like he was beating up pitt that pitt would actually get beaten up, that's how great an actor he is. :)

NO NO NO! No bringing talent into the equation we are objectifying these people. Please look once again at Brad's abs.

Pitt has the looks but never seemed to be much more than a pretty face to me. Not much substance above the neck.

On the other hand, Depp isn't as good looking but he does have that slow, quiet, sultry, sexy thing going for him. Personality and intelligence can be even sexier than muscles.

However, if we're objectifying... as JM says, those abs just can't be ignored. So, I'm going to have to go with Pitt. Although, after seeing him in Kalifornia, I could never look at him the same way again. :nonod:

For sure. Personality, intelligence, and a sense of humour over looks. The saving grace for most of the folks around here.

Ooops! Did I say that out loud?

No, I have my b!tch up today. I was demeaned at a store by a male who had heard I was gay. He had broken up with his girlfriend and thought maybe I could help him out. After I asked him if he was trippin' I asked why he thought to ask me that question. He said well that is what I hear you people like to do. He thought gays would do anyone and had no self control. I explained that I have been with the same man for 9 years and I am probably the most moral person he will ever meet. I told him that in no way am I attracted to him and could not imagine anyone else ever would be. So yes most days I would not have been bothered by your comments but today of all days you hit a nerve. Will I get over it? Yes. Am I tired of being approached by guys that think I only exist for one purpose? Yes. Will I be able to find my break pedal if that guy walks in front of my car? Probably not. Do I sympathize with women when men say degrading things to them? Yes I do.

So he thought you'd just "top off his tank for him?" So sorry dude. Maybe he really just likes you but didn't know how to say it without being a total jerk.
Anyway, throw on some tunes. Sit back and relax with a good glass of vino. Maybe a litle cheese. Feel any better yet?

Keep in mind I really cleaned up the comments. At least I know where I stand or should I say kneel with him and his opinion of me.

I have the tunes playing and I am drawing a bath. I will have a glass of wine with the rock cornish game hens and corn on the cob tonight.

If they vote to allow gay marriages let me know. My partner and I can run up to that church. Of course we will both be wearing a tux so you won't have to help with the dress. Don't hide the box. I'd probably like the cheapest available. I used to love Boonesfarm. Wifey likes sparkling cider. That way she can pretend to be drinking. She's only 100lbs and gets drunk on one sip of wine.

JohnMichael, can I come to the wedding? I love weddings!

Pat.P, I could be wrong, but I don't think that same-sex marriage is legal in the US. They aren't as liberal as us free-thinking Canadians. Tell your church members to vote YES. Marriage should be about love, not about religion or politics.

Of course you are invited. No sadly we do not have many states that have civil unions or marriage. Ohio is fairly conservative so I do not think it will happen here anytime soon. I could be married in another state but it would not be recognized here. Of course divorce is easy. Get your stuff and get out.

I don't want to drag you into a religious/philosophical debate...well, unless you want to. But that's exactly my problem with the church. Instead of focusing on the real issue here...human/equal rights. The focus is on how not to offend the people who pay the bills. In my opinion, that's just not a very "christian" attitude.

Not to mention that it's a very short-sighted point of view purely from a business perspective. I understand that the church must earn money to function. It is a business as well as a religious institution. And, it may take three young families to replace the financial contribution of one older person, but that older person is going to die eventually anyway. Any good business in that position would be looking for ways to grow the business now and not wait for their customers to die off.

Hi Pat. I actually just logged in to delete that post. But I guess since you've seen it and responded, there's no point in deleting it. I'm sorry. You seem like a really good person and I didn't mean to get all political on you. I believe very strongly that everyone should be treated the same and have the same rights, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. This is a subject that is close to my heart. I'm glad to see that you didn't take my comments personally. I was afraid that you might which is why I wanted to delete the post.

In fact, your point about losing money from your congregation is probably the most sound argument that I've seen for churches not to allow gay marriage in the church. None of the other arguments that I've heard (procreation, loss of family values, etc) hold water.

Thank you for not taking offence to my post.
