no, I'm not talking about "Aqualung", I'm talking about meafter shoveling all the freakin' #@*^#ing snow in my driveway. It's been bitterly cold here, att least compared to what we usually have, for about 3 weeks now and we're supposed to get more snow over the next couple days. Why am I posting this? Well, I was wondering if any of my friends in the Southern states (Chip, are you reading this) has a spare room to offer until, say, April or May? I HATE THIS CRAP!

Whe I saw the "Tull" mention I thought you were talking about this (www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_858591.html). LOL.

Yeah, we're going to get another foot Tues night as well. I actually don't mind the shoveling... it's the idiots on the road that drive me nuts (lots of people from down south who've never driven in snow are stationed at the local Sub base; although to be fair, we got plenty of locals JUST as clueless...LOL)

I hear ya Swish.

Last Saturday I woke up to -11 degree temps. That was the ambient air temp and not the wind chill. You know it's damn cold when the snow "squeaks" under your feet as you walk. I can't wait to see my next heating bill. The cost to heat my home is already up 40% over last years bill at this same time and now they're saying it's gonna go up further. Wish my friggin' pay check increased as much.

The local weather people are forcasting any where from 5 to 10 inches of snow beween today and tomorrow thru Tuesday night.

I'm with you Swishy. Sorry, I can't offer you a warm climate right now, we're expecting our own foot of snow to start falling later today. Our last snow storm, about 10 days ago, left us in minus 40 temperatures and no electricity for about 2.5 hours. We were pretty thankful for the woodstove in our living room that night. A lesson learned....make sure we always have at least enough wood to keep us warm for 24 hours...just in case.

Down here it's cold and the rain froze last night but nothing bad at all, just damp as hell and cold.

Ya'll northerners are getting hammered, eh?

Wish I could help. Shoveling snow has to be a good workout, I would guess?

...it's pretty nice here. A little muddy out on the trails, tho.

You can stay out in my barn, if you want. :D there's even a drum set out there for ya.

I stay away from mud as much as possible as I don't have spare parts and swag, and we don't have mud here anyhow!

I hear ya, Swishy baby, I been shoveling that sheet all foggin' day. And I hear we're supposed to get more on Wednesday. At least it's closer to zero degrees Fahrenheit (it's been bitterly cold -- closer to zero degrees Celsius). Time for some hot chocolate.

Hey, Swish.

Never thought I'd need snow tires -- wrong.

First winter I've actually had to buy two vehicles' worth of snow/ice tires.
No repreive in sight....blizzard warning for tonight/tomorrow morning.

Cuba would be awfully nice right about now.

Swishing the snow away,
Bill
