OK. First, get it out of your system. I have a cheepo ARS112PS 'bout four years old and just blew the T2A 250V fuse. Went to Radio Shack and got new fuses, replaced the blown one and the new one blew on power-up. Put another one in and it lasted about 10 seconds before it blew. Any ideas on what might be overloading here? ANyone else ever have this problem? I'm loathe to bring this thing in to a shop as the repair might exceed the cost of the unit...Thanks-Cheepo Dan:17:

It sounds like the amp inside the powered subwoofer died. Not much you can do about this on your own.

You're probably right. I spoke to Crutchfield where I bought it and they advised me to try unhooking the driver and see if it still blows the fuse. If it doesn't, then likely the driver is bad and still under warranty. If it's not the driver, I may be able to replace the amp for less than the cost of replacing the whole thing.

Anyway, thanks for the post...:mad2:
