Maybe this should go in the speaker section. I was wondering which speakers would be better for surround sound rears, Monitor Audio S2s or Monitor Audio SFX. I have the S8s for the fronts. The SFX is actually the surround speaker for the Silver line. But I can get the S2s to match the finish on the S8s. The SFX are only black or white. Low freq for the S2s is 40hz. Low freq for the SFX is 60hz. (I have a sub.) Sensitivity for S2 is 91, for the SFX 89. I am planning to mount them to the wall behind the viewing area. Surround mostly used for movies. I generally listen to music in 2-channel.

Any opinions are appreciated.

This is where you flip a coin asking yourself which is more important: aesthetic or audio coherency? Buying speakers in the same model line will pretty much guarantee you audio but not aesthetic coherency. Of course I suppose you could always go down to Home Depot and buy spray paint.
