Hey audio_dude,
how are you liking the Atoms so far? I have to admit that I wasn't expecting too much from mine when I bought them (I originally bought them as surrounds) but I have since used them periodically in a 2 channel set up and I'm very impressed! They're not perfect, but they are a sweet little speaker with many positives.

hmm...seem like great little boxes, i'm a little strapped for cash, I made my own sub woofer by taking the tweeter out of one of my old speakers...(8 inch woofer) and drilled 2 now 2 in ports in the cabinet, giving it nice bass..(although its kinda muddy) atached to the speaker B on my integrated...just filling in the bottom end for my atoms when the music gtes bumppin' lol

Alright DUDE!!! :)
Click here to download and burn to a disk! 57 Tracks of almost ALL frequencys (well in good steps) incl. pink noise, sweeps and phase checker
:cornut:
http://www.apogeeclub.de/Tracks.rar (about 9MB)
This download is sponsored by a caring Apogee fan who wont leave anyone in the rain, incl. box owners :):):)
PS: Remeber the more diffuse they are in out of phase the more precise they are in phase.

OK! Florian.
I'm just an Acoustat owner although I can't stand boxes either. Where do I get an application to decompress RAR files without paying?

MMMMM??? test frequencies in MP3?? doesn't this kinda defeat the purpose?? or is it that simple frequencies are just too simple to be affected by lossy compression?

Pretty much no loss since the files are quite short and the only very limited bands :-)

ya, but there is no pink noise!!!!
and some of the recording have a lot of compression artifacts, like the 1khz sweep tone upwards....lots of artifacts!
