I got the idea when I was listening to Death's Sound Of Perseverence, specifically the amazing instrumental "Voice Of The Soul." Hey, why not make an album of all metal instrumentals? Think of it as thrash muzak. ; P

Shut Up And Play: Metal Instrumentals

I did an instrumental comp a coupla years ago called 'Shut up and Play'...'cept it wasn't metal. Most of the comp featured Danny Gatton and Ronnie Earl with tunes by Colin James and Robben Ford among the rest.

Interesting coincidence with the name anyway.
