Funny, unless you know that Valve's Steam (the sponsoring application) is a system hog that is constantly bothering you with pop-ups. there aint no introduction forums, just post it anywhere you want...

if there is no real question along with the introduction, I might recommend you the off topic board, (general off topic, you'll find it) or when you go a little deeper into the description of your 'audio life', you could also post in the general audio discussions board...
