Calibration Standard Instruments MDM-4

Has anyone here ever heard of the company Calibration Standard Instruments, and the MDM-4(MixDownMonitor)? I have only found a few short references to them after much searching.

They still work and sound very nice to me, although lacking bass. Pretty good though, considering they're 23 years old;)

Nobody has ever heard of these?

I was hoping to find something out about them, seeing as I wasn't alive until 10 years after when they were made!
