or you can use that little icon above the textbox where you type your post that looks like a globe with a little chainlink. It will prompt you for the text you want to disply, and then for the actual link url.

thanks to all....I don't see any such icon...but I did figure it out and successfully posted a link here, yesterday, at RR

And now you've successfully posted a link in this one, as well.
If you want to do it manually, try clicking on Reply To This Post (http://forums.audioreview.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=127205). You should then see the form that you want to emulate -- the part from "http://forums.audioreview.com/..." to the right square bracket, you want to replace with the actual URL that you want to link to, and the text that says "Reply to This Post" you want to type in whatever you want us, the readers, to see (easiest to just say 'link').
Notice that if you try doing the same thing with your own post (http://forums.audioreview.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=127107), it takes on a slightly different form. That's the form you want to use if you want the URL and the text to be the same.
