hello friends...

my name christian from indonesia...

by this forum, i want to ask u'r comment about home theater speaker.
i want to buy speaker for my home theater.

1. Front speaker TOTEM STAFF
Center Speaker TOTEM MITE-C
Surround TOTEM MITE

2. Front speaker VIENNA SCHONBERG
Center n Surround speaker VIENNA WEBERN

what the best choies for my home theater???

Hi Christian,
If you are speaking just HT then I would opt for the Staff's. They go a little lower and you don't mention a sub in your setup. The Staff's are also an 8 ohm speaker that would be easier to drive. But also at a sensitivity of 87 db they will require a good HT receiver to drive them properly. Hope this helps.

Very nice receiver. I would go for the Totem's and you will have a top notch home theater setup. All you will need then is a good sub to give you the rumble that home theater is all about.

Another vote for Totem... I have heard various VA speakers paired with that receiver, and the results weren't pretty, to say the least.

I've never heard the Vienna's. But I have heard the Totems. Very impressive. They get my vote.

Ya, go totem, auditioned a few of them a few weeks ago, very clear and easy to pick out individual sounds...but you NEED a sub, no deep rumble on these things.
