Anybody have Nov/Dec issue of ConsumerReports magazine?

They usually evaluate and rank the current 27, 32, 36inch TVs models on market in either Nov or Dec '05 issue.

I was wondering if anybody happen to have one, could please post the results for 27 and 32 inch TVs.

The 27" HDTV set is going to be too small a picture for you, as is a 30" HDTV, not sure about 32" HDTV, but you're totally safe going with any 34" or bigger Widescreen HDTV. Thekid, thank you very much. Now I don't have to hunt down those CR magazine issues. Looks like Sony top the chart as usual for conventional TV. I will go to store and check those TVs. I had my eyes on Panasonic Tau Pureflat TVs.

Haven't decided if I want to go with HD or not since it is for my computer room. But the space is extremly limited. The Tv can not have greater depth of 21 inch since it will not come thru the door. And once get it inside, the width of TV can not be greater than 31 inch.
And on top of that, I am on limited budget :(

So too many limitations to consider when selecting TVs :)

Hey, my sister just bought one of those Panasonics. I went with her to pick it out, at first she was going to get a Sony but the picture on the Panasonic blew the Sony out of the water. That is one fantastic TV. Almost makes me wish mine would blow up so I could get a new one.

I would not pay too much attention to picture quality on the showroom floor (for any set, not just Panasonic or Sony). The initial settings for many sets (if not all) are completely inaccurate. The only real way to evaluate a set's performace compared to another set is after proper ISF calibration (and if that can't be afforded, then at least calibration through Video Essentials).

That said, I like Panasonic a lot...
