If you like boxing/qusi documentry type flicks this is a must buy. I have only heard of James Bradock in watching a piece on PBS about Joe (the Brown Bomber) Louis, but this movie is a real pull up by your boots strap film. You'll find youself rooting for this guy to get back what the depression of 1929 took from him.

I watched this a couple of days ago. It was a great film. I was into this movie from start to finish.

This was easily one of the best movies of the past year. Excellent performances and a truly inspirational story. I saw this in the theater while waiting for my car to get serviced and I gotta say, it put things into perspective. There I sat, waiting for my M3, and I'm watching a true story of a guy fighting against age and injury just so he doesn't have to add water to his kid's milk. Talk about feeling like an ungrateful sh!t! It definitely made me appreciate what's important in this world.
