So I don't look silly not knowing that Johnny Cash did a Nine Inch Nails cover.

Or that this great Finley Quaye song is co-written with Bob Marley:

Sun is shining

sun is shining, the weather is sweet
make you want to move your dancing feet
to the rescue, here i am
want you to know, y'all, where i stand

(monday morning) here i am
want you to know just if you can
(tuesday evening) where i stand
(wenesday morning)
tell myself a new day is rising
(thursday evening) get on the rise
a new day is dawning
(friday morning) here i am
(saturday evening) want you to know just
want you to know just where i stand

when the morning gathers the rainbow
want you to know i'm a rainbow too

I am not Daystar.

Well, I thought maybe you knew that it could snow while the sun was shining.

How right you are, Stonerman!

I know almost as many things about snow as the Inuit do! I've skied powder, crud, corn snow, slushie snow, crusty snow, man-made snow, yellow snow, and even icy snow.

And speaking of ice...what's this hear about a fiancee in your life? :D

I figured she was just acting a little "blonder" over at obner? Oh well, I'm a rainbow too ;)

Oh, and btw, after you chose that Finley Quaye song for our hot fun in the summertime of 1997 comp, I told you it was a Bob Marley tune, didn't I? Don't think Finley Quaye changed the lyrics, only the music some. He calls it Sunday Shining. Think I put the original on my Bob Marley comp, didn't I? Yep, song #7. Didn't I send you a copy of that?

Very soon to be wife. Hopefully, the second time for me it'll "take."

That's possible?

Don't think I yet had the pleasure of saying congratulations, but there it is. Hope she comes with a love for the more eclectic side of music ;)

Not sure ... but I thought I saw some dark roots http://forums.audioreview.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

Regardless of her blondieness, she could probably kick your sorry ass, and at the same time, outsmart both you and Sloshy combined. Notice that I'm staying out of this round ... she's already kicked my ass around the block ;)

. . . outsmart both you and Sloshy combined. As if that's some kind of a feat. At least I'm smart enough to stay single :p

Thanks. She does have a love for some eclectic music, but she definitely doesn't have the obsession I do for it.

No kidding. Those Xanax/Patron/Prozac cocktails aren't quite enough these days.

Hehehehe... way to cover all your important life events in one fell swoooop!

Really! Congratulations, Stone! She's a lucky girl/woman! ;)

HIGH FIVE ON THAT ONE, SLOSHY! ;)

Big thanks for the new music, Mr. Ms. Now that I'm feeling a little better I'll be able to appreciate it. (I hope...)

Thanks for the birthday kisses, although they're a few days early. I'm sure they'll keep. And I did offer to come over with my doctor kit in some other thread (http://forums.audioreview.com/showpost.php?p=118851&postcount=4). But yeah, talking blonde jokes while your sick with the flu is pretty low. I'm kind of embarrassed that I let Stone draw me down to that level. As you well know, I usually drive my jalopy down the high road. But careful about bringing up my age Lovergirl, cause most around here probably know by now that you're not all that many years behind me ;)

Congratulations Stone. Despite your previous experience and comments from the peanut gallery...not all marriages have to end prematurely.

All the best! When's the big day?
