Just happened upon some interesting reviews of these two artists.
Anybody here at RR know these work?? What's your opinion?? I haven't heard either, but they sound like potential "likes".
Marah - If You Didn't Laugh, You'd Cry
James McMurtry - Childish Things
Cheers,
Bill

Haven't heard the new Marah, but I've heard good things about it. I have two of their other albums, which are both really good. Have you heard any of their stuff?

I've mentioned McMurtry a couple times, but haven't heard anything about that new one. I love that song "Sixty Acres" from It Had To Happen and remember checking out the next one from the library, but guess you're on your own unless Whooptee stops by because he's the resident expert. Quality music for sure, but I don't think quite distinctive enough to really break out from that big group of similar rootsy artists.

Thanks for the replies, fellas.
I think I'm going to take a blind-buy junket on one of these two, next time I'm in the record store. Both sound interesting.
Thanks again,
Bill
