Budget?

I'm unaware of any computer system sub that will do 20Hz though you may wish to contact Adire Audio (http://www.adireaudio.com) and see what they may have. I also know nOrh (http://www.norh.com) is working on something.

my budget is around $200 - $300

im looking to get good sound for my computer
can be either a component of a computer packege or just a sub, i have a receiver wich i can run RCA wires to my computer headphone jack

needs to be powered tho, looking to let the bass boom, get pretty lound, give me a massage.
going right down to 20 and hard is just a guideline, any good suggestions?

You might check out Klipsch. They have a pretty impressive PC sound package. Not sure of the model number, but it sounded damn good. I saw it at Best Buy. The sub was pretty impressive even in the horrible acoustic environment that Best Buy is. It came as a package so I am not sure if you can get the sub seperate. They usually have them set up in the computer section, not the speaker section. Here's the two speaker system they have.

Seems like a pretty good price.

Are you using a receiver and two speakers for you're computer and all you need is a powered sub? Or do you need two speakers and a sub? Well if you just want a loud sub I'd look at this Klipsch. It sounds alright and goes quite loud.

If you want a package with two saelites and a subwoofer I'd get what JSE reccomended.

Never liked the Klipsch for sound quality but they will boom bass. 20hz? You won't find it for a computer, and there isn't any point. Most music cuts out WAY before. Only of my audio setups that can hit 20hz +/- 3db is my car's subwoofer.
