An interesting Christmas CD from Progrock Records.

We are now shipping the Ten Point Ten christmas prog album "12 25" so
if you haven't gotten it yet and would like to have some nice songs
of the season, check it out at
http://www.progrockrecords.com/shop/view.php?id=84

Hey, thanks for the good tidings, but if you were thinking about sending out proggified Christmas disks as stocking stuffers to the whole gang, and if you were thinking about putting me on the list as a gang member, can I get some cookies instead? Thanks!

Ho ho ho! Have a <s>Merry</s> Proggy Christmas!

;)

Let's see, there's also Jethro Tull's outstanding Christmas album.

Keith Emerson did a Christmas album.

Transiberian Orchestra, anyone? (Maybe prog, maybe not.)

Does Spock's Beard's Snow count? Any points for the title?

When all is said and done, go with Oscar Peterson's Christmas CD, and avoid the drippy Michael Franks one.

I listened to a couple of the samples. I was hoping "Closer" was a cover of that NIN tune. Oh, well..."Carol of the Bells" sounded typically overblown in stereotypical proggy fashion.
