I would like to find a good universal remote for my system. Of all the people who on
on this site, there must be a favorite. Any recomendations?
I would like computer programablity, maybe touch screen and spend less than
$ 400.00

refurbished pronto TSU3000 can be had for less than $400, sometimes available on Philips' website or remotecentral.
If you go this route make sure you get a docking station

Yeah with your budget I suggest you go with the Harmony Remote 880 for around $175 or so online or the 676 for $125 online Anything you saved from your budget can go to me in an effort of Christmas Cheer

imo harmony remotes are the best out there, nothing comes close to them
I don't have any idea how it compares to the one mentioned above but at eBay Klipsch is selling Phillips Pronto $300.00 dollar remotes for $100.00

I second, third, and fourth the motion for the Harmony 880. If you ask me, touchscreen remotes are useless. It shouldn't take both hands plus having to stop and look at a remote to press 1 button.
