I own a Hitachi 43FDX01B TV. It has the same progressive scan problem mentioned by a few of the reviewers on this site. The picture drops out for a few seconds while playing some DVD's. This problem only occurs if the player is hooked up through the component video input.
Even though this problem has seemingly been reported (and fixed) by some reviewers, Hitachi customer service is of no help. They claim no knowledge of this problem.
Any informatiuon that anyone can provide would be appreciated!
