So you can pick one, just one, filmmakers vision of this, or another world, to live in.... where would you live, and why? Am sure i've forgotten some classic worlds, so jump in and throw them out there. also, whose world would you definitely NOT want to live in?

Bring me poo-tang! And lots of it. Throw in some hot cars and fancy gadgets. Any more tang available?

I would prefer to live in Bugs Bunnies world or better yet, Hugh Hefner's world but hey, no Poll is perfect. Of the one's listed I went with Indiana Jones' world. A world of Pulp Heroes and high adventure. I'd be a masked nazi fighter like "The Spirit" or "The Spider" or my faves.. "Doc Savage" or "The Shadow". Right and wrong were pretty easy to discern back then and there was little that some grit and a well placed .45 cal. bullet couldn't solve.

Halle Berry, Kim Basinger, Ursula Andress, Barbara Bach, Jane Seymour (personal all time fav), Britt Eckland, Caroline Munro, Carole Bouquet (the smokin' brunette from For Your Eyes Only), Teri Hatcher, Denise Richards...whew!

No?

Aston Martin DB5, DB7, V8 Vantage, Vanquish, Lotus Esprit, BMW Z8, Bentley 4.5L, Sunbeam Alpine, and various flying cars, rocket boats, jet skiis, et.al.

Throw in the various weapons and gadgets with a license to kill and the choice is easy.

Speed. Top Speed.

Alrighty, Kam. I've given this one some thought. This is a very interesting idea - the stuff of daydreams. Of the ones you listed I would probably go for Tarantino's world for several reasons. I would have a hand cannon or custom made Samurai sword for a weapon. I would get to say cool sh*t. I might have some close calls and brushes with death, but I would always come out alive with the girl, the money or both. I would get to see some cool movies and listen to some cool music anytime I wanted. I would be an expert on international pop culture and dictate what's cool and what's not.

Not from your list, I was thinking it would be cool to live in The World of John Waters: The Early Years, but only for a short time. I don't know if I could take all that decadence indefinetly.

For another short stay, I wouldn't mind living in The Bizarre World of David Lynch. I could meet Frank Booth, but I wouldn't want to stay around long enough to get on his bad side. Ben could do "In Dreams" in its entirety. I could do Laura Palmer and hang out with Agent Cooper. I would see some wild sh*t and all sorts of freaks. But, again, it would probably get too weird at some point.

i actually thought of lynch's world, then forgot it when i was making the poll. on second thought, definitely could take out hitchcock's world... i mean, who'd really want to live in that world of constant terror and dread of being murdered by a total stranger, hunted by people you dont know, mistaken for a spy, killed by a mama's boy, chased by a flock of birds, haunted by the spitting image of your love, or killed by any number of other strangers.... i also thought of kurasawa's samurai world as being another fun place to live in, but again... too much death there. Lycnh's world would definitely be a fun place, but i thikn once you're in.... there'd be no way out.

Among the choices, I went with the Star Wars world -- all those cool flying machines everywhere, hyperspace just a quick jump away. Sure, there's this Empire to contend with, but I've seen the movies, it's only a matter of waiting long enough for young Luke to grow some peachfuzz and take on that evil Emperor.

When I saw the topic, the first thing that came to mind for whatever couple of reasons I can't think of off-hand ... (o)(o) ... was Russ Meyer's world! Stacked women on bikes, on the loose, with guns, with bad attitudes, with girl-fighting skeels ... where do I sign up? :D

Cool. I'll see ya Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens or Beyond the Valley of the Dolls or perhaps at the Common Law Cabin where we can meet up with some faster pussycats.

Hopefully you will also have an endless supply of Viagra if you want to live in Hefner's world :D

I would go with Spielbergs world. Everything happen in grand scale in that world. :)
