Confused on which sound card to get

I would like to upgrade from the built in sound card I have on my computer and have been doing alot of research and am torn between six different ones. My sole purpose would be for the best sound possible when listening to music. Sound Blaster Digital Music 16bit, Sound Blaster Live 24bit External, Sound Blaster Audigy 2NX USB 24bit HD, M Audio's Audiophile 2496, M Audio Transit or M Audio Sonica Theatre. :confused:

For sound quality...either M-Audio or a Turtle Beach card. NOT Sound Blaster.

SO....which sound cards have good reviews by audio standards??
I basically want to listen, to already recorded music... not record live music. :(
