...this place really sucks hippo balls out loud.

I mean, c'mon, people. Blablablablablablablablabla... ;)

No that's not the reason I'm posting. Just picked up this Decemberists Castaways and Cutouts disc on a whim, and I really mean a whim because I disliked the Taint so much, it's a wonder I'd even give anything else by them a second glance, but this thing is GREAT. You guys have been ranting and raving about them for a while & putting them on comps, and I never really got a clue, but now I have one. It reminds me a lot of Robyn Hitchcock, the way the vocals sound. Nice stuff.

And something else I picked up was this 3-disc set at Tower. Free. They were giving them away at the door.

Yea, good album. Grace Cathedral is classic. And Robyn Hitchcock is one of the good guys. Those look like some pretty nice freebies you scored there FP. Color me green.

You, of all people I thought would get the sarcasm. I consider myself the new Andy Rooney, you know.

I'm just irked because the mods here could have a thriving board on their hands, and yet they choose to stifle it by insisting we stick to the topic of music and music only. Makes for boresville, man.

If that's the way the general consensus wants it around here, I'll quit snivelling about it. I just like to complain, that's all. When I wake up at 2:30 in the a.m., I'm a little cranky. I'm wondering what poor old tentoze must think.

Thanks for asking!
