I got a chance to take some pictures and thought I would post them here just to show you guys what I've been up to the last 2+ months. These are based on RomanB's design and I must say that I'm impressed so far.

They seem quite different but unfortunately the pictures are too dark to see any detail.
Satisfaction is a good indicator ;>) I say forget the numbers and let your ears determine the quality.

Damn those look nice. Bet they sound even better. I might be e-mailing you for a few pointers on these...got a bit of extra cash and spare time coming my way real soon....

I really like those externally accessible crossovers. I'll try to copy those (if less elegantly) when I attempt my own 3-way project maybe next year.

I take it this is really a two box system? That seems like a good idea too.

Paul, I guess I've been out of the loop, but would you mind telling us (again) what drivers you used?

I thank all of you. The drivers are the RS28, RS125, and RS225. This is a modular design as indicated in an above post. Also, it's hard to see but that little shiny metal clip on the door holds a battery which is connected to a reed switch so that when the door opens the bright LED comes on so that you can see the crossover parts and when you shut it, it breaks the connection and the LED goes off. I like to tinker around and the easy access of the crossover is definitely worth the extra effort it took to build. I must give RomanB some credit here because he came up with the box design and crossover. I just changed it up some to fit my fancy like the LED, easy crossover access, front firing port, and wheels. He has all the measurement data up on his page here: http://www.rjbaudio.com/Daedalus/daedalus.html. I tried to keep the dimensions as close as possible but ended up using some scrap 1/2" MDF for the sides of the mid/tweeter box. Again, thank you all. Paul.

if you hover your mouse pointer over the picture a little box pops up with arrows pointing out in the 4 different directions. If you click on this, the picture will expand to its original size which shows the detail better. Not sure if this is IE specific or not.
