What Lines From Movies do You Quote?

I'm a flim nut and I'm always quoting lines from movies or Cartoons at people. Most of them never ever get it, but I do. What quotes do you use and why?

1. "Philistines!" - Victor Mature as Samson from "Samson and Delilah". Whenever someone's giving me a hard time I generally tend to call them this "in fun". I've other polysylabbic words when I'm really pissed off.

2. "S'cuze me while I whip this out" - Cleavon Little from "Blazing Saddles" For obvious reasons I quote this one. Most folks "get it".

3. "They're gonna have to fight to get me" - Dad Longworth from "They Were Expendable" - When the Japanese were closing in on Dad's boat repair business the American Captain who's P.T. Boats he was repairing asked him what he was going to do when they came this was his reply.

4. "Very Sloppy Roscoe, Very Sloppy. You're a Slobberly Houskeeper" - Daffy Duck "Conrad the Sailor" . When somebody drops something I usually use this quote.

5. "Shovin' Right Off Again. Shovin' Right Off Again. Shovin' Right Off Again! Phew!!!" - Same as above. Used just for stupidities sake.

6. "There ain't much there but what is is cherse" Spencer Tracy, "Pat and Mike". When I see frail with out much junk in da trunk, I use this line.

worf i use that blazing saddles line every chance i get. and its just as fun to say everytime! a few other classics that are fun to get in:

"Game over man, game over!" - Aliens, works in so many situations.

"They mostly come out at night... mostly." - Aliens , actually can use variations of this one in so many situations too.

"What's happenin' hot stuff?" and "The Donger need food!" - Sixteen Candles. It helps to be asian.

"Ah, yes...very funny...I make a speshar won ton soup for him." Eddie Murphy, Delirious. Again, it helps to be asian.

"Gargoyle, more food!" Cheech and Chong (jeez, can you tell it's lunchtime while I'm doing this?)

Doesn't everyone use the Aliens lines??

Off hand, I can only remember a few:

"Shoot me now, shoot me now." Daffy Duck
"Game over." Aliens (yes Top, I believe we all use this one)
"Just put your lips together & blow". (no explanation needed)
"Frankly Scarlet..." everyone knows the rest of this one.

These are just a few that my Swiss cheese memory let's me think of right now. But I use many more. More than I realized until I married a lady from the other side of the world. I can't tell you how many times I have had to stop to explain something I said only to realize that it was a quote or reference to an old movie or cartoon that she's never seen. Mostly it turns out to be from old Disney movies.

Here are some of my favorites from The Ghost and Mr. Chicken:

"Why don't you run up an alley and holler fish!" - usually my last comeback when my boys and I are picking on each other.

"Atta boy, Luther." - this one can be used sarcastically after a screwup or as a genuine compliment.

"And they used Bonami." - good 2 cents tag line for any discussion having to do with cleaning.

"When I was asked to be guest speaker at this luncheon, I asked myself, 'Luther, who are you to be guest speaker at this luncheon?' Let me clarify. What is a guest speaker? Let me clarify." - This one's great for when your kids are preparing to give a speech at school.

"My mama always said, I'd rather have good food than bad food any ol' day of the week." - appropriate for just about any conversation regarding food.

"That was the best pounded steak I've ever had." - my compliments to the chef.

I loved Sigorne Weaver's quotes from Aliens; "Did IQ's drastically drop while I was away"; and "Well you can fvcking bill me" when she expressed a desire to nuke the creatures' nest from space and was told that it held to high of a monetary value...believe it or not, I have used that quote before. I also use the "game over, man" phrase from Aliens. Speaking of Bill Paxton, I like to quote him from Weird Science, when he's trying to make his little brother sick, "How's about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray".

My Star Wars quote comes from Yoda, "There is only do, or no do. There is no 'try' ".

There are two kinds of people. Smokers and Non-smokers. Decide which one you are and be it.

I use this line everytime someone who smokes talks about how much they want to quit (I quit cold turkey so I've earned the right to use this line).

Also, Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet. Let's hit the f***ing road!

Edit: One I forgot to mention. Whenever someone does or says something a little off the deep end I say, it rubs the lotion on it's skin (Silence of the Lambs).
