AVI files and Mediaplayer.

I am having trouble playing some type of AVI files on Win Mediaplayer. It will play some AVI files fine, but on some AVI files it will freeze the picture right at start, but timer keep going.

Have latest WMP installed (9.0) and also have media codec pack installed too. Any help would be great.

I can't fix WMP, but try

Sometimes what you describe is due to a truncated/incomplete/corrupted file. There are some applications that can 'fix' this. Here's one for windoz
