I'm making a KC comp for a friend, and all I know is he likes Dream Theater and he liked what he heard of my Dixie Dregs comp. That's really all I have to go on, so I thought I'd see if he likes KC.

I only have 4 discs, Discipline, Beat, 3 Of A Perfect Pair and Thrak. I tried to take 4 or 5 from each disc, and here's what I have, so far. Any suggestions as to songs I should dump/add? How's the order?

I tried not to get too wild, so I wouldn't scare him off. ;)

King Crimson For The Beginner (or For Dummies?)

Radio 1
Two Hands
Dinosaur
Frame By Frame
Indiscipline
Inner Garden 1
Lark's Tongue In Aspect Pt. III
Matte Kudasai
Model Man
Neurotica
People
One Time
Sartori In Tangier
Sleepless
Heartbeat
3 Of A Perfect Pair
Thela Hun Ginjeet
Thrak

Man, the volume varies wildly from disc to disc. :(

Thanks for any suggestions!

It's fine and will serve the purpose.

Don't waste time typing a response.

That was pathetic...replying to your own post just to get a reply. Line up sounds good from the disks you have. I have more if you want to make a box set.

Looks like a good mix.

Yeah, "Requiem" is not an "entry level" track, I'm glad you didn't put it on.

You need to get: In The Court..., Islands, and Red. At least.

Replying to you via Blackberry---I have a good "Red era" comp that fits on one disc.

Lemme know...

Hey Todd, there is a King Crimson comp within my Bruford comp.
