"You only live twice" is my favorite.

Here's a question. "Thunderball" or "Never say never again"?

I remember reading in some magazine 43 years ago that a form of "english" serial was being produced. That was DOCTOR NO. I did not see that film when it first came out. In 1963, in Glen Oaks, N.Y. I saw FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. I was thoroughly impressed. In no particular order, I like the following and for the reasons given.

FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE: This film was slick and classy from beginning to end. I consider it one of the best films made in the 20th century.

ON HER MAJESTYS SECRET SERVICE: I thought that Lazenby was good in this film. I like the fact that for once Bond becomes emotional over a women. I think one of the great things in life is to have some kind of super-romantic adventure with a lady that you love. That is what takes place with Bond in this film. I watched the end of this film the other night. Every time I see the part where Diana Rigg is killed by Blofeld on the side of the road, my heart sinks down to the floor and has been doing that now for 36 years. True, this film is somewhat boring until Bond is pursued on skis with machine guns blasting away. At that point the film starts blasting away. Too bad it was not made in stereo.

OCTOPUSSY: Well, at least this one was made in Dolby Stereo but I did not hear it in stereo till I owned the laserdisc. I just liked the style of this film. I though Roger Moore was fine as Bond. I thought it was a darn good adventure film.

Best Bond movie with Sean Connery: You Only Live Twice
Best Bond movie with Roger Moorer: Moonraker
(guess I like the space theme)
Best Bond movie w/o Sean or Roger: License to Kill

All the recent movies with Pierce Brosnan were just BAD. Glad to see they are replacing him.
