Hi everyone,
I just bought an rmb1066 amp, and I am using my current AVR2802 as the processor. It gets bower from a 12v trigger when I turn on my power center. The rotel powers on and the sensor turns red. However, no sound is output. I have the front left and right preouts going to the l and r inputs of channel A on the amp. Speaker wire is ran from the amp to my existing speakers (Vienna Acoustics). I even tried the amp in a bridged configuraton and got the same result- no sound. When I run my speakers of my Denon the speakers come to life. Is it possible the amp could be stuck in standby? When I ran it in stereo I made sure I switched the dial for channel to stereo configuration. When bridged I used only the left inputs as the manual says and used the corrresponding speaker connections. Again, I made sure I switched the dial to bridged. I made all connectioons with my system off. The protection lights never came on at any time to indicate a problem.
I would greatly appreciate any input and help. If you need more info to help me better..just ask. Thanks a lot.
Pete
