I love the flac file format. Less space than wav, same quality(i think). Trouble is, software is hard to find. I could rip all my cds to flac, but since i already have them on cd... are there any sites that offer flac downloads? or subscription services with the same?

"Flac Frontend" for encoding and decoding to Wav.
As for selling it if Flac format only 1 that I know of. Allofmp3.com you can get pretty much any format from them. Been using them for a couple of years. You can trust them too. Great place. and they take requests if they dont have what you want.

If you're on PC/Windows, check out J River Media Center. You have to use a plug-in to deal with FLAC, but it has a front end analogous to iTunes:

Works well for me.
(Note that the for FLAC input plug-in, you should probably use Oblong's FLAC decoder, not Scot Thompson's, as Scot's has a bug dealing with tags.)
