Rotel RCD1072 vs Pioneer47A

I'm considering adding Rotel1072 to my system, Pioneer47A is what I am currently using.
Will I hear a difference in sound quality and is it worth buying?

I found the sonic difference between a Rotel RCD-1070 CD player (the predecessor of the 1072) and a cheap Sony DVD player in terms of CD sound to be minimal. Maybe it is because my system is not super hi-fi.
