Paradigm Studio 100s and NAD

Hi folks,

I have revently upgraded to a new NAD C-160 pre-amp, C 272 power amp (150/150 per channel as mentioned by the manufacturer and a NAD C542 CD player. My questions is which Paradigm Studio loudspeaker be best syited for the thye pf equipment I currently own. Would the Studio 100 be overkill for my epectronlcs or would be matching the Suudio 60s to my system? I listen from Jazz, to Classical as well as pop and electronic and Trance music.

I would appreciate any help and advice I can et from you folks.

The 100 or the 60's will work great with your setup. Go out and listen and chose whichever you like best. 150 watts per channel should be enough for just about anything.

Well your gear should drive anything from paradigm which isn;t overly difficult to drive. Buy whichever one sounds best. If you plan on buying a subwoofer down the line then you may not need to spend the extra on the bass for the 100. In other words the 60 and a Sub might be better in that you could put the money difference to a sub plus any money you might have been planning for a sub and combined get a REAL good subwoofer. It would most likely give you more bass depth than the 100.

I agree with RGA - If you're set on buying Paradigm, then for the price of the 100's (and even the 60's) you can the 40's or 20's (which IMO sound better in the midrange up) and a pretty good sub or two and be further ahead for it. Just cross them over low...
