Blown Channel?

I have a Pioneer VSX-403 Reciever. My left channel seems to have stopped working. I did try swapping the speakers and it was still out, so I know its not the speakers. It does come on when I put the stereo in simmulated stereo mode. Any ideas on what it could be?

It comes on when you switch modes? might be as simple as dirt, I have an old rotel integrated that always made the right channel cut out whenever i had the tone controls bypassed with the switch, cleaning the switch cured it. Radio shack sells cleaners for electronic parts. Good luck.

Not sure if that will work, each mode has its own push button, no rotary switch.
