Hi all,

I'm looking to complete a low budget speaker system. I was able to pick up the following speakers for a nice deal at Outpost.com:

Polk R30 - $80 for the pair
Polk R15 - $50 for the pair

So in keeping with this theme, I'd like to complete the system without going crazy. I am using a Yamaha RX-V530 receiver. I've been eyeing the Polk CSi3 as a possible center channel, but have no models in mind yet for the sub. The room is a small, apartment-sized room (~ 12x14).

Any recommendations?

Thanks

These are not so much recommendations, but ideas and suggestions you might follow-up on.

For a center channel on a budget, you might also consider the Athena AS-C1. I also have Polk front speakers (RT600i) with a Yamaha receiver (RX-V800) and find the Athena center well-matched with the fronts.

For the sub, you might look at the pre-built subs from Parts Express:

I haven't heard these subs myself (I don't have a sub), but I just finished building one of the budget monitor speaker kits from this company and I am extremely pleased with the product.
