Hello my name is alex and i am living in Israel.
I wanted to buy B&W602 s3 But Becouse of your site and great reviews about EFE Kit, The Kit is on it's way to me :D
I need to build cabinets for the drivers but i never have done this befor.
I have some one who will cut the MDF for me.
I have a small room 3.5/4.0 meters, the speakers should be clouse to walls, so maybe i will use port tubes at the front?
1. What glue should i use?
2. What should i cut first?
3. What should i assamble first?
4. Should i use nails?
5. Can i use 3cm MDF?
Please tell me the steps of work.
Sorry about my English.
I will post some pics after i will finish the speakers.

Keep the port tubes at the rear...try to get the speakers 12 to 18 Inches out from the walls (at least)...front porting will require a complete redesign of this speaker, and probably won't sound as good. If you put them closer to the wall your bass will probably increase.

1. What glue should i use?
A good carpenter/wood glue...Elm's or whatever, doesn't have to be too fancy.

2. What should i cut first?
Doesn't really matter. You can find the cabinet dimensions at:
http://www.madisound.com/ar_com.html
I recommend making the front baffle piece the entire area of the surface, and the rear wall so that it is completely surrounded by the top, bottom and sides...you can do the math. It helps to cut the driver holes before assembling, but not necessary.

3. What should i assamble first?
Doesn't matter. Follow Ed's Instructions, which can be found at the top of this page under the "Learn" link

4. Should i use nails?
I used an air gun to drive small nails to hold the box together, some people use screws, which might work better...it doesn't matter if you have a strong wood glue, but it might help

5. Can i use 3cm MDF?
3cm MDF? You're building a speaker box, not a bomb shelter. 3 cm is probably way too thick, and would really absorb and damp all the energy of the speaker in my opinion...You should look for 0.75 inch MDF, which is 1.9 cm thickness....this is the best.

Please tell me the steps of work.?
You can read the hard stuff in the "Learn link". Building the boxes is easy if you are patient. Just remember to include the thickness of two pieces of MDF when calculating dimensions. Hopefully you will have a plunge router to cut the driver holes, and be able to flush mount them.

Good luck, I think you will enjoy these speakers much more than the 602's.
