Mordaunt-short MS300 Gold-?

I'd welcome any opinions on both this specific speaker and the manufacturer. Also what type of amplifiers might work best, since I understand that these English types sometimes
require heavier wattage(I'll probably be using an old Marantz 4230 quad, to be renovated).
