I am sure everybody have hear that ABC news anchor have lung cancer. They showed a sound bite from his last news broadcast, and he looked so frail and seem like he had trouble talking. What a shocker since he looked fine just couple of months back.

My friend had a colon cancer and after she went thru chemotherapy and she wasn't the same after the treatment. She have trouble breathing, always feel weak and very frail.

I guess Jenning will go down the hill fast once he go thru chemotherapy this week, and won't see too much of him anymore. It just show how fragile life is and we shouldn't take it for granted.

Smoke, don't assume he will go down fast. I know a woman who works at the television station that I work at who went through chemo for breast cancer. She looks absolutely stunning, and I had no idea she ever had anything wrong with her.

I found out about Peter Jennings about two days before it was released through a company email(I am a Disney/ABC employee now), and it said the Peter would continue to work through chemo when he could. I think he may do alright with a little prayer.

I went through chemo 19 years ago, and I'm still alive and kickin'. I've got a picture of my bald self back then to prove it. I lost all my hair at 19. Not a lot of fun for a college kid, but it grew back. Frail? Nah. Is life fragile? Absolutely, but that's no reason not to live it to its fullest. Take it for granted? Not this gringo. Every day is a gift.

Chemo is nasty stuff, without a doubt. But it performs remarkably well for many types of cancer.

Thanks TT and Dnaul for the comments. Now I feel little it better about Chemo. And Daniel, glad to hear you made a full recovery and still trucking.

Hopefully Jenning will get better and be back on TV. It must be hard on the family.
