I hooked up this little 15 wpc into 4ohm amp.

To a pair of Studio 100sV2s and was just amazed..While this little amp won't play as loud as the Aragon or Acurus I have>.At normal levels I enjoyed the music as much as I do with the other amps...I bought these units for building a good sounding boombox, based on the PE BR1 speakers...Ill posts pics when I get done...

I have this amp but have no speakers at this time. anyone have recommendation on a efficient speaker for an average sized room for mainly jazz/classical music?. I have budget of <$200.

This is very interesting. I, too, have the 100s v.2 and for how cheap this thing is it might be worth trying out for fun. Too bad the adapter you'd have to buy to run without batteries is about $25. Please post any more results you have with this.

I finished the boombox. No pics yet.I used this battery

with this charger

This option works very well in this set up.The last boombox was way to heavy.I am working on another using a 5/8s ply and more bracing.

I've been playing w/ that amp this week...cool little unit. Definitely strange that the power supply is almost as expensive as the amp, but still at $50 for both it's a good solution for computers, Ipods, etc.
