I am setting up my first HT. My setup so far is a Harman Kardon AVR635, Klipsch RB-25's for left and right, RC-25 for center, RS-25's for surround (problem child) and an SV PB12plus/2 sub. The problem is with the surrounds. I got the RS-25's to have a timbre match speakers set only to find that they are not good for ceiling mounting because they are di-pole. They are not very tall and do like nice at the ceiling. My surround speakers need to be ceiling mounted (home pre-wired for that). They can be placed to the left and right of the main seating area as wide (~10 feet) as the front speakers about 1-2 feet behind the seating area. I would think that a set single pole speakers that can be angled in and down towards the seating area would be better than the di-poles I currently have. I don't really want anything taller than about 7" to mount to the 10 foot ceiling...any suggestions????
