I have an extra two channels in my home theater and am thinking about bi-amping my soon to be picked up paradigm reference 470 center channel
my thoughts are using a a "Y" adaptor from the single center channel output on my processor to get two outputs that each go to a seperate amp channel and from there each channel to my center channel speaker which will have bi-wire capability
my main amp is a parasound 220watt monster and I have a smaller 85watt 5 channel amp for rear and center. In retro spec I should has purchased a 5 channel amp which could be bridge so my center channel power is closer to the mains
anyone know what benefits I would get with this? I would assume more power and clarity for the center channel
also I want to make sure I do not damage anything
thanks
