hi

i wanted to ask if anybody heard about this company
i am interested in a home theatre with 5 speakers of sonab "fugi"
and iv'e heard that this speakers are actully "peerless" but with a diffrent name
is that true?
or peerless have nothing to do with sonab ?

I know the Company from the 1970's in the U.K., and yes all the drivers used were from Peerless. These drivers were made in the Danish plant. I seem to remember that Sonab was Swedish. They sounded very open and were superbly made . :)

And I've lusted after a pair for years now. However the other half says she'll kill me if another large set of "orphan" speakers wound up on my door step. Sonabs were known for their odd driver arrangement. The models I saw had the maind driver pointing downward and tweets and mids arranged around it firing outward all enclosed by a metal grill. The cabinets themselves were wood, heavy and on castors....
