I'm wondering what's the most unique, or ridiculous piece of "classical" music you've heard recently? I Listened to Knee 3 of Phillip Glass' "Einstein on the Beach" and it really is a relaxing, yet totally puzzling composition. If you can I'd give it, or another of the other Knees a listen. In the meantime, does anyone else have any interesting pieces like that to share with us?

Hey, is your name really Aric, as in Eric with an A?
That is my name, and I've never met anyone that had the same name.
Cool, if so, huh?

That really is my real name. I've met about 2 other people in my life who spelled it that way. I think it may just be a tad too excellent for most people. After all "Aric" does mean "GODLY RULER" whereas "Eric" means a mere "kingly ruler" that closes that case for me ;-)

Huh, I've not heard that interpretation before. I have only heard it as "ruler" or "leader". Do you know anything else about the origin? It's my understanding that it's an Old German form of Richard.
And, is there any association with Alaric? Visigoths?
Sorry if this bugs you, but I've never really been able to discuss the topic of my name before with anyone who had as much interest.
Thanks,
Aric D.
