Cool looking unit, eh? Bigger than my house. What the hell is this?

Those are Avant Garde Trios w/ BassHorns. That's an old pic from a show a few years ago.

The big horns in the center are the "basshorns" modular bass units in a full 6pc stack. The grey ones on either side are Treos, and there seems to be a white set of Duos hiding behind the far Trio.

I've heard the Unos and it was quite astonishing. The Trios take the cake as the most dynamic audiophile grade speaker made, with 109db/watt sensitivity!

It quite easy to see that the object in the middle is some type of harvesting blade turned on end..and the circular cones are funnels used in the processing of Krispy Kream Donuts (portable of course as seen by the battries in front)

that is all....move along...nothing here to see...

It would certainly seem that such an outfit should be able to equal a live performance in both quality and volume.

A full up Trio with 6 basshorns @ 109db watt sensitivity is also rated for 7KW of amplification. Hows that for absurd!

geez, that would need a solid house, that could cause some structural damage. I'd love to hear those in real life.

I have heard those in Munich, and i must say that they are wonderfull only with some music. Jazz and Trumpets sound great on it, but a violin or female vocals are itchy.

But gets a 2 thumbs up for being different !!
