infinity alpha 40 vs Polk rt-18

They are around the same price here in Canada, any opinions? Looking to upgrade from Energy xl-25's

My brother has the complete Aplha system with the 40's and he absolutely loves them. I think they are one of the best buys for the price. I didn't like the sound of the Polks when we auditioned them but that could be because of the room, studio etc. He is very happy with the Alphas however.

I would choose the Infinities over the Polks.
